Why rabbits??
First of all I’m a lover of rabbits and have had several house rabbits over the years. In the past I’ve also worked directly with rabbits through the Buckeye House Rabbit Society. My current rabbit is Sophie, who’s not only a rescued rabbit but also the Lucky Rabbit logo.

What’s a house rabbit?
A house rabbit is a litter-trained rabbit that has the run of a room or (as in Sophie’s case) an entire house. Rabbits are easily litter-trained and can even learn simple tricks, or to come when their name is called. Most people aren’t aware that rabbits are intelligent, social creatures that enjoy exercise, toys and social interaction (from people, other rabbits, or other animals). Unfortunately, most rabbits are seen as docile creatures that are comfortable sitting in a cage all their lives.

Who’s a lucky rabbit?
Well, Sophie’s a lucky rabbit of course. Rescued in 2003 she has the run of the house and enjoys plays, chases and snoozing under the bed during the day. But more importantly, you can help other rabbits to be as lucky as Sophie since 5% of all Lucky Rabbit Studio profits go directly to the House Rabbit Society for the rescue and adoption of pet rabbits. Because four rabbit feet are always luckier than one.

Thank you,

Mark Kerley
